The Metropolitan Transportation Authority Police Department (MTAPD) is seeking assistance from the public to identify the suspect involved in an assault at the Spuyten Duyvil Station, on Monday, March 24, 2025, at approximately 12:15 pm.

Details of the March 24 Assault

At approximately 12:15 pm, a man wearing a blue hat with “New York” in white letters, and a gray coat with gray scarf, assaulted an elderly male at the Spuyten Duyvil Station in an unprovoked attack. Investigation reveals that the suspect struck the victim with a traffic cone, causing a laceration to his head. The suspect fled to parts unknown.
