Contract No. 244941, Siemens Mobility, Inc., Purchase up to sixteen (16) Locomotives for Penn Station Access. (Sole Source)
MTA Metro-North Railroad (MNR) under a current contract, with options to purchase up to sixteen (16) locomotives. These option locomotives will be designed with an alternative energy source for Penn Station Access passenger service. This is not a Request for Quotation (“RFQ”). Any firm may assert its potential to supply the item(s) by notifying the designated MNR contact in writing via e-mail within 5 days of this notice. A determination not to competitively bid the proposed procurement based upon responses, if any, to this notice is solely within the discretion of MNR.

Discretionary Procurement Opportunities
The Procurement Opportunities below will be awarded utilizing MTA’s Discretionary Policy. Service Disabled Veteran Owned Businesses Set-Asides Procurement Opportunities
