Northbound service permanently
rerouted from 140 St to 143 St in
South Jamaica
The Q40 will now travel on 143 St between 135 Av and Rockaway Blvd, in both directions.
The Q40 will no longer travel on 140 St.

Benefits for customers: Northbound bus stops relocated:
• Speedier, more reliable service because
143 St is wider than 140 St, reducing delays
caused by traffic congestion.

• Convenient northbound and southbound
service on the same street.		 On 130 Av from 140 St to 143 St
On Sutter Av from 140 St to 143 St
On Rockaway Blvd from 140 St to 142 St

Southbound Q40 service and bus stops are
unchanged. However, the last southbound
stop is relocated to 143 St at 135 Av.
