Promotion to Car Inspector / Car Inspector, Exam Nos. 3706 / 3604
If you submitted a request for an alternate test date due to being a Sabbath Observer or because you require Special Accommodations, your requests have been reviewed. If your request is ‘denied’, you will be notified by phone. If your request is ‘granted’, you will receive your admission letter with an alternate test date by June 22, 2013. If you do not receive your admission letter by June 25, 2013, you must come to the MTA Exam Information Center located in the Lobby of 180 Livingston Street, Brooklyn, NY 11201 between the hours of 9 AM – 3 PM, Mondays through Fridays.

Promotion to Signal Maintainer / Signal Maintainer, Exam Nos. 2702 / 2600
The practical test for this exam is tentatively scheduled to begin on May 28, 2013.
Candidates who were found ‘Not Qualified’ on their Education & Experience Test Papers should receive a Not Qualified letter by April 1, 2013. Candidates who were found ‘Qualified’ should receive their admission letter by May 10, 2013.
If you do not receive either letter by May 24, 2013, you must come to the MTA Exam Information Center located in the Lobby of 180 Livingston Street, Brooklyn, NY 11201 between the hours of 9 AM – 3 PM, Mondays through Fridays.

Transit Electrical Helper, Exam No. 3606 (NEW)
The multiple-choice test for this exam is scheduled for June 8, 2013. All candidates should receive their admission letter by May 24, 2013. If you do not receive an admission letter by June 3, 2013, you must come to the MTA Exam Information Center located in the Lobby of 180 Livingston Street, Brooklyn, NY 11201 between the hours of 9 AM – 3 PM, Mondays through Fridays.

MTA Bus Company Promotion to Bus Maintainer, Exam No. 3400 (RESCHEDULED)
The practical test for this exam originally scheduled to begin on June 24, 2013 is now being re-scheduled to begin during the week of June 3, 2013. All candidates should receive their admission letter by May 24, 2013. If you do not receive an admission letter by May 30, 2013, you must come to the MTA Exam Information Center located in the Lobby of 180 Livingston Street, Brooklyn, NY 11201 between the hours of 9 AM – 3 PM, Mondays through Fridays.

Pro.to Maintainer’s Helper – Group B / Maintainer’s Helper – Group B, Exam Nos. 3710 / 3607 (NEW)
The multiple-choice test for this exam is scheduled for June 29, 2013. All candidates should receive their admission letter by June 7, 2013. If you do not receive an admission letter by June 24, 2013, you must come to the MTA Exam Information Center located in the Lobby of 180 Livingston Street, Brooklyn, NY 11201 between the hours of 9 AM – 3 PM, Mondays through Fridays.

Staten Island Railway Power Maintainer, Exam No. 3802
The multiple-choice test for this exam is postponed to July 22, 2013. All candidates should receive a postponement letter for their records. All candidates should receive their admission letter by July 1, 2013. If you do not receive an admission letter by July 15, 2013, you must come to the MTA Exam Information Center located in the Lobby of 180 Livingston Street, Brooklyn, NY 11201 between the hours of 9 AM – 3 PM, Mondays through Fridays.

Promotion to MS Surface, Exam No. 3709
The multiple-choice test for this exam is postponed to August 24, 2013. All candidates should receive their admission letter by August 5, 2013. If you do not receive an admission letter by August 14, 2013, you must come to the MTA Exam Information Center located in the Lobby of 180 Livingston Street, Brooklyn, NY 11201 between the hours of 9 AM – 3 PM, Mondays through Fridays.

Track Equipment Maintainer, Exam No. 3605 (POSTPONED)
The practical test for this exam is being postponed to October 1, 2013.
Candidates who were found ‘Not Qualified’ on their Education & Experience Test Papers should receive a Not Qualified letter by August (subject to change). Candidates who were found ‘Qualified’ should receive their admission letter by September 13, 2013.
