MTA Property Disposal

In 2005, the New York Public Authorities Law was amended by the addition of Sections 2895-2897 which require that public authorities (a) adopt guidelines which include operative policy and instructions regarding the use, awarding, monitoring and reporting of contracts for the disposal of personal property and (b) publish annual reports relative to the disposition of personal property.

Posted below are (1) the guidelines adopted by MTA Headquarters and each MTA operating agency and (2) the reports of personal property disposed of during 2006.
