Chief Michael Coan - MTA Police
Welcome:
On behalf of the members of the Metropolitan Transportation Authority Police
Department, I wish to personally welcome you to our department's web page.
This site is dedicated to the continuing challenges met by the men and women
of the MTA Police Department in providing safety and security for the commuters
and travelers who use the Long Island Rail Road, Metro-North Railroad, and
Staten Island Railway. This website will help to facilitate a dynamic partnership
between the traveling public and the MTA Police in keeping our commuter rails,
bridges, and tunnels as safe as possible; we strive to accomplish this with
pride and professionalism each and every day. Thank you for taking the time
to visit our webpage and we look forward to serving you in the future.
Sincerely yours,
Michael Coan
