MTA LIRR Offers A Montauk Package Ticket For Columbus Weekend-Fall Festival Getaway, Oct 10-11

Columbus Weekend-Fall Festival: October 10th – 11th
Clam shucking, beer and wine tasting, famous live crab races, rides, games, a carousel, live entertainment and as always, Montauk's Famous Clam Chowder Tasting Contest.

The LIRR Montauk Village package ticket includes a discounted round-trip rail ticket to and from Montauk Station, two Lindy's Taxi stubs to and from the center of town and a LIRR Montauk Customer Coupon*, which is good for money-saving discounts and special offers at participating merchants. $39 for adults and $10 for children ages 5 to 11

Take any off-peak Montauk Branch train to Montauk Station. Pick up a walking map at the station or while in town. Lindy's Taxi will be at the station. Just present stub to the driver for each trip. Please call ½ hour in advance for return trip to station: (631) 668-4747.

In addition to the Columbus Weekend-Fall Festival, the Montauk Village package ticket is available daily until the end of December. Enjoy a short taxi ride to the Village, where you will experience a non-escorted tour of the unique shops and restaurants. Spend a peaceful time in the parks, walking the seasonal trails or along the beautiful beaches. There's even fishing, which makes for a complete paradise adventure.

Tickets for the LIRR's One-Day Getaways (escorted and non-escorted) can be purchased in advance at the LIRR's blue or gray ticket machines. Both blue and gray machines accept credit and debit cards; gray machines also accept cash. Select "Getaways & Packages," then "One Day Getaways" followed by the tour or package of your choice. LIRR ticket offices accept cash, credit and debit cards or personal checks.
