New M15 Bus Stop Locations

Nine Stops Changed Along 2nd Avenue

MTA NYC Transit announced that beginning Sunday, October 4, changes affecting nine bus stop locations will go into effect. The changes affect the southbound M15 local and limited bus stops on 2nd Avenue from East 101st Street to East 82nd Street. These changes to Upper East Side southbound M15 bus stops are due to long-term construction work on the Second Avenue Subway.

Updated Southbound M15 Bus Stop Locations on 2nd Avenue:
• East 100th Street, nearside, from East 101st St. to East 100th St. – Limited and Local
• East 97th Street, nearside, from East 99th St. to East 97th St. – Local only; to be discontinued January 2010
• East 94th Street, farside, from East 94th St. to East 93rd St. – Local only
• East 90th Street, nearside, from East 91st St. to East 90th St. – Local only
• East 88th Street, nearside, from East 89th St. to East 88th St. – Limited and Local
• East 82nd Street, farside, from East 82nd St. to East 81st St. (no change) – Local only

Discontinued Southbound M15 Bus Stops on 2nd Avenue:
• East 96th Street, farside from East 96th St. to East 95th St. – This Limited/Local stop is relocated to East 100th Street, nearside.
• East 89th Street, farside, from East 89th St. to East 88th St. – This Local only stop is relocated to the new Limited stop at East 88th Street, nearside.
• East 86th Street, farside, from East 86th St. to East 85th St. – This Limited/Local stop is relocated to the new Limited/Local stop at East 88th Street, nearside.
• East 84th Street, farside, from East 84th St. to East 83rd Street – This local only stop is discontinued.
