This Getaway package offers the ultimate touring experience with a bus tour and a river cruise of the Hudson Highlands, West Point, Bannerman Island and more. You'll be captivated by breathtaking views of one of the most dramatic and historic points on the Hudson River, during your one-hour West Point bus tour. Then find yourself in the center of it all on a 2-hour sight seeing river cruise.

You'll be met at Cold Spring Station by a West Point Tours guide and bus. During the 25 minute drive to West Point; your guide will regale you with the fascinating history of this part of the Valley, as well as intriguing tales about sites along the way. Your one-hour tour of West Point includes the Main Cadet Chapel, Trophy Point, Battle Monument, and the Plain, with time for stops at the Visitors Center, and the West Point Museum and Gift Shop.

After your bus tour, the bus will travel back to Cold Spring, where you can come onboard the River Rose and step back in time on an authentic Mississippi Paddle Wheeler. Enjoy a box lunch and relax on the spacious decks and enjoy fascinating facts about Constitution Island, the famous hamlet of Garrison, NY and the great Military Academy at West Point.

Getting there
