West Point & The Hudson Highlands Tour
June 23, July 21, August 18, September 8 and October 20
Saturdays
The experience
The Hudson Highlands offers the most dramatic scenery of any point on the Hudson River, and this tour has all that and more. You will be met at Cold Spring Station by a West Point Tours guide and bus. During the 25 minute drive to West Point, your guide will regale you with the fascinating history of this part of the Valley, as well as intriguing tales about sites along the way.
Your one-hour tour of West Point includes the Main Cadet Chapel, Trophy Point, Battle Monument, and the Plain, with time for stops at the Visitors Center, and the West Point Museum and Gift Shop. At the end of the tour, the bus takes you back to Cold Spring to enjoy the rest of the day browsing the antique stores and boutiques, and grabbing a meal at one of the village’s cafes or restaurants or you can board the train back to your destination.
Reservations for the tour package are required and should be made at www.westpointtours.com or by calling 845-446-4724. As part of the security at West Point, everyone 16 years and over is required to bring a government issued photo ID (such as a driver's license or passport). Once you confirm your dates, purchase your package from any Metro-North ticket office or full-service ticket vending machine (except Cold Spring Station) and through WebTicket.
