 Board the Dutchess County Farm Fresh Link shuttle at Wassaic Station for excursions to the charming Village of Millerton, Cascade Winery, McEnroe Organic Farm, and Crown Maple Farm, all located in the scenic Hudson Valley. Begin your day in *Millerton, home to the internationally acclaimed Harney & Sons Fine Teas. Step into the charming tea store and tasting room for a "cuppa" or cross the street for an up-close look at handcrafted art glass by Gilmor Glassworks. Stroll through the pastoral village shops and choose one of several dining locations (a coffeehouse/restaurant, Mexican or Chinese food, vegetarian - there's something for everyone) to enjoy lunch. On Saturdays, until 1 p.m., enjoy the Millerton Farmer's Market on Dutchess Avenue, just off  Your next stop will give you a wine-tasting at Cascade Winery located on 68 acres in the township of Amenia. Cascade Mountain was founded in the spring of 1972 by the Wetmore family. Bill, along with family, planted the vineyard in 1972 and built the winery in 1977. Today, Cascade Mountain features a full line of award-winning table wines. (Tasting fee is $8 per person and is in addition to the package price). Check out the best that Mother Nature provides at McEnroe Organic Farm, where you'll learn first-hand about organic farming and composting. You'll tour the 700 acres and see cows, turkeys, llamas, fields of vegetables, and greenhouses fueled by corn and more! At the end of your tour peruse the gourmet delicacies at the full-service farm market and bring home some special treats.  Your last stop of the day will be Crown Maple Farm. Be among the first to visit Crown Maple Farm, an 800-acre sustainably forested, organic farm, opening its doors to visitors this fall. Tour the modern, state-of-the-art sugarhouse and taste for yourself why Crown Maple's syrup is praised by culinary experts worldwide for its exceptional purity. Next, enjoy a guided stroll through Crown Maple's working chef garden, which supplies some of New York's top restaurants. You'll see uncommon crop varieties from Italy and France, along with exceptional heirloom species. Take home syrup from the Crown Maple farm stand along with exclusive chef-only produce that is sure to inspire your own culinary creations. You must first purchase your package at any Metro-North ticket office or full-service ticket machine (excluding Wassaic Station).
