IMPORTANT:  RAIL TICKETS ARE VALID FOR TRAVEL UP TO 14 DAYS FROM DATE OF PURCHASE and CAN ONLY BE USED FOR OFF-PEAK TRAVEL.

 

The Museum is open six days a week, closed on Tuesdays, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day: Hours are - Saturday, Sunday, Monday & Wednesday, Thursday, 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.; (open until 8:30 p.m. the first Thursday of each month, September-June); Friday, 10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.  Galleries are cleared 15 minutes prior to closing time.

 

As you can see, you have received two tickets:  a round-trip rail ticket and a special event ticket marked “MoMA.”  When you board your Metro-North train, give the conductor your rail ticket.  It will be punched and given back to you.  Make sure to hold onto your rail ticket for your return trip home.

 

When you get to the Museum, simply present your special event ticket marked “MoMA” at the ticket desk for admittance to the museum.

Take the Hudson, Harlem or New Haven Line to Grand Central Terminal.  From there take the northbound M1, M2, M3, M4 or M5 (located on Madison Avenue) to 53rd Street.
