Thank you for purchasing this wonderful package. There’s something for everyone at this incredible museum, located on the scenic banks of the mighty Hudson River. Remember, the Museum is closed on Mondays.

IMPORTANT: RAIL TICKETS ARE VALID FOR TRAVEL UP TO 14 DAYS INCLUDING DATE OF PURCHASE.

As you can see, you have received two tickets: a round-trip rail ticket (VALID FOR OFF-PEAK TRAVEL ONLY), and a special event ticket marked “MHCHILD”.

To get to the Museum, take the Hudson Line to Poughkeepsie Station. Give the conductor your rail ticket to punch and give back to you. Make sure to hold on to your rail ticket for your return trip home.

To get to the museum, exit the train, and take the stairs or elevator to the overpass. There you will see a sign directing you the museum. To exit the overpass, walk towards the Hudson River (the opposite direction of the station). Go through the doors by the parking garage. Walk past the historic displays to the stairs or elevator and go to the ground level. Exit through the doors (you will be facing the river). Turn right (north) and follow the sidewalk to the museum (about one block). The museum is on the left side of the road (you will see signs). Walk around the building (to the left) to the Museum’s main entrance at the parking lot.

When you get to the Museum, present you special event ticket marked “MHCHILD” at the entrance.
