IMPORTANT: RAIL TICKETS ARE ONLY VALID FOR TRAVEL UP TO 14 DAYS FROM DATE OF PURCHASE.

When you purchase this package, you will receive two tickets: a round-trip rail ticket (VALID FOR OFF-PEAK TRAVEL ONLY) and a special event ticket marked “GRAY LINE TOURS.” When you board your Metro-North train, give the conductor your rail ticket. It will be punched and given back to you. Make sure to hold onto your rail ticket for your return trip home.

Once you purchase your Metro-North package, you must exchange your ticket at the Gray Line Visitor Center located at 777 Eighth Avenue between 47th & 48th Streets. Once you have exchanged your Metro-North ticket for a Gray Line New York Sightseeing (GLNYS) ticket, double-decker buses can be boarded anywhere on the route.

Take the Hudson, Harlem or New Haven Line to Grand Central Terminal. From there take the following:

Bus: Take the northbound M1, M2, M3, M4, or Q32 bus (located on Madison Avenue and 42nd Street) to 47th Street. Walk five blocks west to Eighth Avenue. Or, take the westbound M104 located outside the Terminal at 42nd Street and Pershing Square (near the Grand Hyatt Hotel) to Eighth Avenue and 46th Street.

Walking: Exit the Terminal using the Grand Central North exit at Madison Avenue/47th Street. Walk four blocks west to Eighth Avenue (between 47th & 48th Streets). The walk takes approximately 15 minutes.
