As you can see, you have
received two tickets: a round-trip rail ticket (VALID FOR OFF-PEAK TRAVEL ONLY) and a special event ticket marked
“BOT GARDEN”.
Getting to the Botanical
Garden is easy as can be: Take Metro-North’s Harlem Line to the Botanical
Garden Station. Give the conductor your
rail ticket to punch and give back to you.
Make sure to hold on to your rail
ticket for your return trip home.
When you arrive at the station, follow the signs to
the Garden. Entrance to special
exhibitions in the Enid A. Haupt Conservatory requires a timed ticket. To
receive your timed ticket, present your special event ticket that says "BOT GARDEN" at the Mosholu Gate
entrance booth, located directly across the street from Metro-North's Botanical
Garden Station. Select an entrance time. If that slot is full, you will be
offered the closest entrance times, available in 15-minute intervals. Your timed ticket gives you complete access
to the Garden before and after admission to the Conservatory.
