Preventative Maintenance and Remedial Repairs of HVAC Equipment at LIRR’s Arch Street LIC Facility & MTAPD’s LIC Facility

The Long Island Railroad Company (LIRR) and will receive sealed bids for the subject work until 2:00 PM on November 30, 2009 at which time and date all bids will be publicly opened and read.

Task Description:  The Work consists of all necessary Labor, Material, Transportation, Permits, Licenses, Notifications, & Equipment to provide monthly preventative maintenance and repair of HVAC equipment located in Long Island City facilities for a period of two years.

A Bidders Conference and Site tour is tentatively scheduled for Friday November 20, 2009 at 10:00 AM.  (call to confirm).  Interested parties are required to meet at the LIRR Guard Booth located at 21-08 Jackson Ave. Long Island City,  N.Y. All parties planning to attend must contact Ms. Irene Cassidy, Sr. Contract Administrator by 10/28/2009 at 718 558-4974 to confirm date and make reservations.

Bids must be submitted on the forms provided by the LIRR.  Copies of contract documents may be obtained at the LIRR 90-27 Sutphin Blvd., Jamaica, N.Y. 11435.   Please contact the Ms. Irene Cassidy at 718-558-4974, to confirm document availability and for pick-up information. 

The Long Island Railroad may consider informal any bid not prepared and submitted in accordance with provisions therein, and reserves the right to waive any and all informalities or to reject any and all bids.
