“Spend A Day in Oyster Bay”
Spend an enjoyable day in President Theodore Roosevelt’s hometown, and one of the most picturesque and historic areas of the North Shore of Long Island. With its quiet beauty, quaint charms, and pristine waterfront, you’ll want to avail yourself of a self-guided walking tour of the village, and/or complimentary use of the Oyster Rides Historic Trolley. The walking tour features attractions such as:
- Billy Joel’s 20th Century Motorcycle Museum
- Oyster Bay Railroad Museum
- Raynham Hall Museum
- Oyster Bay Historical Society’s Wightman House
- and many others
The Historic Trolley meets all trains and provides a continuous loop to Sagamore Hill National Historic site, Planting Fields Arboretum, Theodore Roosevelt Bird & Animal Sanctuary, Young’s Memorial Cemetery, the Western Waterfront, downtown and the LIRR Station.
The package includes round trip rail fare, to/from Oyster Bay, Historic Trolley and a LIRR Deals Coupon, to exchange at the Museum Visitor Center, complementary Railroad Museum tote bag with souvenir, walking tour packet, and a list of restaurants and retail shops offering Spend A Day discounts. The Spend A Day in Oyster Bay program runs from May 26th through September 2nd, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, 10AM to 4PM.

Train Schedule (Call to Confirm):
Take any off-peak Oyster Bay Branch train to Oyster Bay Station. Take a short Trolley ride to the Oyster Bay Railroad Museum Visitor Center where you can redeem your voucher. Trolley coupon is good for locations specified. Hours of operation are 10 AM to 4 PM, Friday, Saturday and Sunday only – May 26 through September 2.
