• The 4:04 PM train from NY due Babylon at 5:05 PM is cancelled. Customers will be accommodated by the 4:12 PM train from NY due Massapequa Park at 5:10 PM with stops at Woodside, Forest Hills, Kew Gardens, Jamaica, Rockville Centre, and then all local stops to Babylon.
• The 4:34 PM train from NY due Babylon at 5:39 PM is cancelled. Customers will be accommodated by the 4:37 PM train from NY due Babylon at 5:52 PM with stops at Jamaica, St. Albans, Lynbrook, Rockville Centre, and then all local stops to Babylon.
• The 4:52 PM train from NY due Babylon at 5:55 PM is cancelled. Customers will be accommodated by the 5:03 PM train from NY due Wantagh at 5:53 PM with a stop at Rockville Centre and then all local stops to Babylon.
• The 5:19 PM train from NY due Wantagh at 6:06 PM is cancelled. Customers will be accommodated by the 5:24 PM train from NY due Freeport at 6:10 PM with stops at Forest Hills, Kew Gardens, Jamaica, Rockville Centre, and then all local stops to Wantagh.

The best way to be prepared is to be informed.

Customers may sign up for free email service updates.

• Visit our website for periodic service updates.
• Listen to the radio and television news: During any storm or emergency, this is the fastest way to find out how train service is affected. We will continuously provide information to the media.
• Call our Travel Information Center by dialing 511 and saying "LIRR". The Travel Information Center will be fully staffed, and there will also be a taped message describing our current service conditions. Please be aware that the volume of calls at the Travel Information Center will dramatically increase during a weather emergency, and you may experience delays getting through.
• Make sure you pick up a current LIRR timetable, as it will provide you with a frame of reference for train departure times at your station if severe weather requires us to run other than our normal schedule.

At Your Station:

• Listen closely for public address announcements if you are in Penn Station, Atlantic Terminal, or at a station on one of our branches.
• Depending on weather and service conditions, Long Island Rail Road employees will be on hand to answer questions about service and, if necessary, alternative means of travel.
