Transfer Information N88 Freeport N87 Hicksville N19 Babylon, N36 Lynbrook, N40/41 Mineola, Hempstead, N43 Roosevelt Field, N62 Freeport Loop, and N4 Valley Stream, Lynbrook, Rockville Centre, Baldwin, all connect to the N88 at Freeport LIRR. NYC Transit subway and bus customers traveling with MetroCard transfer for free to the N4 but must pay the LI Bus fare on the N88. N87 will accept transfers from the N20, N22, N48/49, N73/74, N78/79, N80/81 and the N94 at the Hicksville LIRR, the N70/71/72, N47 (eastbound) and N49 at Newbridge Road and Hempstead Turnpike, East Meadow, and the N46/47 and the N50 at Newbridge Road and North Jerusalem Road, East Meadow, N54/55 at Wantagh Avenue and Jerusalem Aveue; N19 at Merrick Road and Wantagh Parkway. Transfers are free with MetroCard. For customers paying with coins, a transfer to another LI Bus route must be purchased on first bus by including transfer fee with fare. Transfers are valid for two hours and are not valid for stop-overs or round trips. Customers transferring between LI Bus routes may continue their trip on up to two connecting routes.
