| The Hempstead Transit Center (HTC) is the bus system's indoor customer facility between Jackson and Columbia Streets in Hempstead, Long Island. Serving 21 of our 53 routes, the HTC is the major transfer point for customers using a second Long Island Bus route or the LIRR. Offering a waiting area, transit information, MetroCard vending machines, a newsstand and restrooms; the HTC was designed with the customer in mind. |  |
