Bus Operator (New York City Transit) - Provisional

• New York City Transit Authority buses operate in Lower Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Staten Island. You are entitled to benefits and union representation. This is a civil service title, which follows the rules set forth by the NYC Department of Citywide Administrative Services (DCAS).
• This is a provisional position. To gain permanent status as a Bus Operator for New York City Transit, you must apply for the civil service examination, pass the competitive multiple-choice test and be appointed from the resulting list.
