Subway Extension — Hudson Yards Rezoning and Development Program

Project Goals

The Subway Extension – Hudson Yards Rezoning and Development Program project will

• ensure the future growth of the City through redevelopment of the Hudson Yards
• provide transit services to support Hudson Yards redevelopment and
• maintain or improve environmental conditions.

The Subway Line Extension, the proposed zoning amendments and other public actions will transform the Hudson Yards into a vibrant 24-hour neighborhood, containing a mix of commercial, residential, retail, open space and recreational uses and enhancing the vitality of New York City as a whole.
