Job Description:
Assist the Facility Engineer with the administration and coordination of engineering design and construction of the Capital and Major Maintenance projects, from inception to completion, in order to upgrade and maintain the MTA B&T facilities in a state of good repair with minimal impact to service and revenues.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, landscape architecture, business administration, or public administration
- Knowledge of technical engineering principles and practices, including design and construction obtained through at least five years of experience in design, construction management, negotiations and estimating, two years of which must have been in an administrative, managerial, executive, or supervisory capacity.
- A driver’s license valid in the State of New York
Desired Skills:
- New York State Professional Engineer (PE) license or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification desired
